In line with CDC recommendations for camps, we have shortened the camp day and removed lunch from the schedule for summer 2020. Please urge your child to eat breakfast and bring a hearty snack!
Prior to camp each day, parents/guardians must screen their child for signs of illness (cough, temperature of 100.4◦ F or more, shortness of breath, and fatigue). If any signs of illness are present, camper(s) cannot attend camp.
Drop-off Procedure:
Drive up to identified drop-off area. Your child will be greeted by a coach (wearing a face mask). Their temperature will be taken and if below 100.4, they can enter the building. Coaches will dispense hand sanitizer in each camper’s hand upon arrival, prior to touching basketballs and throughout the day.
If a parent/guardian needs to speak to the camp director, they will be asked to park and wait inside your car for the camp director to come over.
Once inside, campers will be assigned to a team and will wait in a designated area, sitting 6 feet apart, until camp begins.
Pick Up Procedure:
Parents/Guardians can park their cars and wait next to it. A staff member will take your name and bring your child out to you.
Camp Modifications & Guidelines:
CAMP ACTIVITIES WILL FOCUS ON DRILLS, CONTESTS, AND GAMES WHERE A SAFE DISTANCE CAN BE MAINTAINED BETWEEN CHILDREN (Around the World, Lay-up Contest, Hot Shot).
NO REGULAR GAMES WILL TAKE PLACE IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN A SAFE DISTANCE AT ALL TIMES.
